Celebridades despiden a Aretha Franklin con emotivos mensajes
Celebridades de todos los ámbitos alrededor del mundo lamentaron la muerte de "La Reina del Soul", Aretha Franklin, quien falleció este jueves a los 76 años en su casa de Detroit, tras luchar contra un cáncer pancreático que la aquejaba desde 2010.
El mundo del espectáculo, la política, el deporte, el modelaje, entre otras áreas, reaccionaron con pesar ante la lamentable pérdida y no tardaron en presentar sus respetos por la leyenda de la música a través de redes sociales.
Con su poderosa voz, Franklin ha sellado un lugar en la historia de la música estadounidense a lo largo de una carrera de décadas que abarcó todos los géneros: del soul al R&B y del gospel al pop.
En 1987 se convirtió en la primera mujer en ingresar en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll. En 2010, la revista Rolling Stone la colocó primera en su lista de los 100 mejores cantantes de todos los tiempos, tanto hombres como mujeres.

Elton John expresó que "la pérdida de Aretha Franklin es un golpe para todos los que aman la música de verdad: múica que viene desde el corazón, el alma y la Iglesia. Su voz era única, sus habilidades para el piano fueron subvaloradas. Era una de mis pianistas favoritas".
